Band Picture
"A PIEDI NUDI" was born in August 1991 in Italy.
They were Cristian Chinaglia (keyboards), Nicola Gardinale (guitars), Simone Bighetti (Bass) e Carlo Bighetti (drums).

After recording a demo-tape and playing in many places, in November 1993 they were discovered by Mauro Moroni's "Mellow Records", specialized in italian progressive and foreign rock. Mauro Moroni made a contract with the group and gave them the possibility of recording their first album.

It was simply called "A piedi nudi": Mirko Schiesaro was the singer and Paul Chain the sound technician.
The twelve songs of this record got very good reviews by the most famous musical magazines ( "Rockerilla", "Metal Shock", "Melodie e dissonanze", "Flash", "Metal Hammer" and so on.

The album sold a lot, and then they decided to record a new one, called "Creazione".
The singer was Carlo Bighetti (drums), and, in order to enrich the elaborated composition, they gained a new member, Enrico Barchetta (french horn). The producer was Paul Chain another time. "Creazione" is a seven song "concept" plus a bonus track
The sound of this new album is more progressive and experimental than the first one, though it is cargely linked to the hard rock of the seventies.

A PIEDI NUDI is one of the best hard/prog bands nowadays in Europe.
